Phenolic Insulation

Product Characteristics

  • Constructions
Rigid Phenolic insulation is light weight and has a high closed cell con-tent and fine cell structure
  • Density
Phenolic foams are produced with densities in the range of 35 kg/m³ to 200 kg/m³. High density boards have a good compressive strength and are suitable for some floors.
  • Vermin, Fungus resistant
Rigid phenolic insulation is resistant to fungus and mould growth and will not sustain vermin.
  • Temperature Range
Rigid phenolic insulation can withstand continuous tem-peratures of up to 120 degrees C.
  • Resistant to Moiture
Moisture has a minimal effect on its thermal performance. Rigid phe-nolic insulation has a 95 per cent (or greater) closed cell content which makes it highly resistant to moisture penetration.
  • Dimension stability
Rigid phenolic is dimensionally stable and can be cut accurately to achieve a snug fit in situations such as between rafters where air tight-ness will be improved.
  • Fire rating
Rigid phenolic insulation has better fire properties than other rigid foam insulation materials .The flame spread Index Is 10-15 and smoke develop Index is 0 . It conform Class A Category based on ASTM E84 Fire testing result
